No purchase necessary

You do not need to buy anything or pay anything to apply. Buying a ticket does not improve your chances.

Selection is not by chance

This is not a lottery or sweepstakes. Do Better Weddings will select at least one couple for a free elopement valued at approximately $4,000. Selection is by application and a call with Joe.

Eligibility

• One application per couple. Nominations are not accepted.
• Both partners are 18 or older.
• Both partners are legally able to marry in Georgia.
• Both partners are available on Saturday, January 16, 2027 at Occasions on Main in Lithonia, Georgia.

What a free elopement includes

• Private venue, ceremony and reception
• Officiant (Joe)
• Ceremony photos and couple portraits
• Food and drinks for the couple plus 8 guests
• DJ, dance floor, and reception
• Bouquet and boutonniere from our florist
• Reserved 10-top table for your group
• Champagne toast
• Highlight reel from our content creators

Valued at approximately $4,000.

Travel, attire, rings, and the marriage license fee are not included.

Featured experiences depend on vendor participation. If one changes, we'll substitute something of equal value.

How and when couples are selected

Selection is by application and a call. Do Better Weddings reviews every application and schedules a call with each finalist. Selected couples are notified by email.

Key dates

• Applications open October 6, 2026 and close November 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• Finalist calls happen November 16 to 20.
• Tickets go on sale November 1, 2026.
• The selected couple is notified by email by November 22, 2026.

Taxes

Recipients may be responsible for taxes on the value of what they receive.

Media release

Selected couples must sign a media release. Photos and video will be used for Do Better Weddings and vendor marketing.
