Pay After Three Partner Agreement

This agreement is between Do Better Weddings, LLC (“Do Better Weddings,” “we”) and the wedding business named at signup (“you”). It covers the Pay After Three early adopter offer for the Better Wedding Certification.

You pay nothing until we deliver.

• Free trial. You start a free trial with a card on file. Nothing is charged at signup.
• Qualified couple. A couple who is actively planning a wedding in your service area, books a consultation call with you through Do Better Weddings, and shows up live to that call.
• The charge. When the third qualified couple shows up to a call, your card is charged $1,000 (USD). That pays for 12 months of certification, starting that day.
• Day 90. If fewer than 3 qualified couples have shown up by day 90 of your trial, your trial extends another 90 days at no cost.
• Day 180. If you still have fewer than 3 by day 180, the trial ends, your card is never charged, and you owe nothing.
• Renewal. After your first 12 months, the certification renews yearly at the current rate. We’ll email you at least 30 days before any renewal charge, and you can cancel before it renews.
• Availability. This offer is limited to the first 2 businesses in each vendor category in each city.

What you get

• A profile on dobetterweddings.co, set up for you from your public website and social media, for you to review and approve.
• One podcast episode about your business, plus 3 to 5 short clips edited for your own page.
• One dedicated ad reel about your business on @dobetterweddings.
• Do Better Weddings content sending couples in your city to shop for pros on our site.
• The title “Better Wedding Certified” while your certification is active.
• A $25 Amazon gift card from us to each couple who completes a referral for you.

What you do

• Collect 15 referrals through our system: 10 from wedding vendors you’ve worked with and 5 from couples you’ve served.
• List a Do Better Weddings exclusive package on your profile, and honor its price for couples who book through us.
• Keep consultation times open on your profile’s calendar.
• Reply to couples who contact you through Do Better Weddings within 24 hours.
• Keep your profile accurate, including prices and availability.

Couples

• Couples never pay Do Better Weddings to find or book you.
• Every booking is yours. We take no commission on any wedding you book.
• You don’t contact couples first. Couples reach out to you. Use their information only to plan their wedding with them.

Content

• You let us use your business name, logo, photos, reviews and referrals on our website, social media, podcast and ads to promote you.
• You can post the podcast clips and the ad reel on your own channels.
• You confirm you have the right to share any photos or videos you give us.

Keeping the title

• You can use “Better Wedding Certified” only while your certification is active.
• We can remove the title and your profile if you stop meeting the commitments in section 2, misrepresent your business, or have a serious unresolved problem with a couple we send you. We’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first, when it’s fixable.

Cancelling

• During your trial, you can cancel anytime, free.
• Once the $1,000 is charged, it’s non-refundable, because it’s only charged after 3 qualified couples have shown up to your calls.
• After you cancel, we’ll remove your profile within 7 days. Content we’ve already posted can stay up.

• No promise of bookings. We promise qualified couples on calls, as defined in section 1. Whether a couple books you is up to you and them.
• Independent businesses. You and Do Better Weddings are separate businesses. Neither is the other’s employee, agent or partner in a legal sense.
• Your services are yours. You’re responsible for the work you do for couples and for your own contracts with them.
• Limit on liability. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you’ve paid us in the past 12 months.
• Changes. We may update these terms for future renewals. We’ll email you the changes at least 30 days ahead, and you can cancel before they apply.
• Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
