This page covers what Do Better Weddings collects on dobetterweddings.co, why, and what you can do about it.

When you sign up

When you join a list or send a form (the Groom Survival Guide, couples early access, Wedding Crash ticket alerts, the elopement and city waitlists, the vendor and venue forms, or the Accelerator application), we keep what you enter: usually your name, email, phone, city, and your answers to the form's questions.

We use it to send what you asked for, follow up about it, and run our events. We don't sell it.

Your Couple Card is shared only with the pros you book calls with through Better Weddings, and only with your OK.

Email

The Groom Survival Guide and the Two-Minute Drill newsletter are sent through Kit. Other emails, like confirmations and login links, are sent through Resend. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. Form answers are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Account passwords are stored only as a one-way hash by Supabase; nobody at Do Better Weddings can see them.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel on this site. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when a page is viewed and when someone submits one of our signup forms, including which form it was. It doesn't send the answers you type. Meta uses cookies and similar technology to do this, and we use it to measure and improve our ads.

You can control how Meta uses this in your Meta ad preferences, by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or with an opt-out tool like the Digital Advertising Alliance's.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete what we have about you, email joe@dobetterweddings.co. We'll take care of it.
